This razor was made especially for Mental Hospitals or Prisons where the inmate would not be granted access to a razor blade. The guard would come around and use the key to unlock the top cap so that a blade could be inserted into place before use by the inmate. Most of the time, these sets do not have the key as they were supplied 10 razors to 1 key. This razor does include a reproduction key, not original, but allows you to use this sought after razor!
